Permissible Acts During the fast

  1. Pouring water over one's self

  2. Applying (Kohl) or eyedroppers or anything else to the eyes.

  3. Kissing for the who has the ability to control himself: The Prophet's wife Aisha said: "The Prophet would kiss and embrace while he was fasting, for he had the most control of all of you over his desires"

  4. Rising the month and nose: Ibn Qudama said: "(If while gargling or rinsing the nose, for the sake of purifing one's self (i.e. for prayer), water reaches the throat unintentionally and not due to exaggeration, then there is no problem).

  5. Things a person can not protect himself from such as swallowing one's saliva, dust of the road, snifing flour, and so on.

  6. The fasting person can eat, drink, and perform sexual intercourse until Fajer.

  7. Eating and drinking forgetting you are fasting: The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "If anyone forgets when he is fasting and eats or drink, he should complete his fast, for it is only Allah who has fed him and given him drink." (Bukhari and Muslim)
